HOW TO GROW SeedBallz® sprout

Plant in full sun

In a pot or on the ground, SeedBallz® are effectively planted by pushing them a 1/3 of the way down into well prepared soil. DO NOT COVER.

Water

Keep SeedBallz® moist as seeds germinate then continue to water
as needed. The water softens the clay, creating a paste that holds the seeds in the organics where they sprout.

Watch them bloom

Squirrel with nutsSeedBallz® have multiple seeds and will produce clusters of flowers. They don’t need to be thinned. Both annual and perennial native flowers will come back once they are established and allowed to re-seed.

Tips

SeedBallz® lay dormant until they are sufficiently watered and have the right temperature for germination.

-- Clusters of sprouts then emerge from each ball as they eagerly reach for the sun.
-- Plant SeedBallz® eight to ten inches apart.
-- Germination times vary from seven to forty-five days.

Squirrels think that the ballz are nuts; watering immediately helps to prevent squirrel theft.

Store in a cool, dry place for up to two years.
